3353acdde9 chore: migrate to Go 1.26 and golangci-lint v2.12.2 (#1689) 
Upstream k8s.io dependencies have moved past Go 1.24, so every Renovate
PR touching them now drags the go directive forward and fails lint under
the pinned golangci-lint v2.1.0 (built with go1.24). This unblocks
#1678, #1570, #1688 and #1346.

- go.mod: go 1.26.3, toolchain go1.26.5 (matches Renovate's rebases)
- golangci-lint: v2.1.0 -> v2.12.2 (built with go1.26)
- CI workflows: Go ~1.24 -> ~1.26
- container builder image: golang:1.26-alpine3.23

1f2ff98834 fix: align CI Go versions with go.mod to ensure consistency (#1611) 
Fixes #1610

The CI workflows were using inconsistent Go versions (1.22, 1.23) that
didn't match go.mod (go 1.24.1, toolchain go1.24.11). This creates
confusion for contributors and risks version-specific issues.

Changes:
- test.yaml: GO_VERSION ~1.22 -> ~1.24
- build_container.yaml: GO_VERSION ~1.23 -> ~1.24
- release.yaml: go-version 1.22 -> ~1.24

This aligns with PR #1609 which updates CONTRIBUTING.md to reflect
go.mod's Go 1.24 requirement.
