As done for the other binaries we release, let's add support for "building" (or pulling down) the static binary we ship as part of the kata-containers static tarball (the same one used by kata-deploy). Right now the virtiofsd is installed in /opt/kata/libexec/virtiofsd, a different path than the virtiofsd that comes with QEMU. Signed-off-by: Fabiano Fidêncio <fabiano.fidencio@intel.com>
Kata Containers packaging
Introduction
Kata Containers currently supports packages for many distributions. Tooling to aid in creating these packages are contained within this repository.
Build in a container
Kata build artifacts are available within a container image, created by a
Dockerfile. Reference DaemonSets are provided in
kata-deploy, which make installation of Kata Containers in a
running Kubernetes Cluster very straightforward.
