This has been replaced by `//build:...` for a long time now.
Removal of the old build tag was automated with:
for i in $(git grep -l '^// +build' | grep -v -e '^vendor/'); do if ! grep -q '^// Code generated' "$i"; then sed -i -e '/^\/\/ +build/d' "$i"; fi; done
Add comprehensive integration tests covering:
- Peer-aggregated discovery merging across multiple API servers
- CRD/APIService exclusion from peer discovery
- Profile-based content negotiation (nopeer)
- Cache invalidation on local discovery changes
- Request routing to peer servers
Part of KEP-4020: Unknown Version Interoperability Proxy
This raises the number of allowed taints per device to 16 by lowering
the number of allowed devices to 64 per ResourceSlice if (and only if!)
taints are used.
"effect: None" and DeviceTaintRule status with conditions get added
to support giving feedback to admins.
Instead of merely adding the new effect value, this also changes validation of
the enum so that unknown values are valid if they were already stored. This
will simplify adding new effects in the future because validation won't fail
for them after a downgrade. Consumers must treat them like this new None
effect, i.e. ignore them.
adds a new integration test to verify that the API server's egress
to admission webhooks correctly respects the standard `HTTPS_PROXY`
and `NO_PROXY` environment variables.
It adds a new test util to implement a Fake DNS server that allows
to override DNS resolution in tests, specially useful for integration
test that can only bind to localhost the servers, that is ignored
by certain functionalities.
This reverts commit 2e756e7412,
which addressed the data race only for test/integration/apiserver/oidc.
It also occurs for test/integration/controlplane/transformation:

A more general solution is to lock while registering the variables (= write)
and while reading the variables once in InspectFeatureGates.
Some tests do version emulation and need the DRA feature. In that combination
the --runtime-config-emulation-forward-compatible option is needed to allow
enabling the V1 API although it's only available in 1.34.
As before when adding v1beta2, DRA drivers built using the
k8s.io/dynamic-resource-allocation helper packages remain compatible with all
Kubernetes release >= 1.32. The helper code picks whatever API version is
enabled from v1beta1/v1beta2/v1.
However, the control plane now depends on v1, so a cluster configuration where
only v1beta1 or v1beta2 are enabled without the v1 won't work.
This change adds the StructuredAuthenticationConfigurationEgressSelector
beta feature (default on). When enabled, each JWT authenticator
specified via the AuthenticationConfiguration.jwt array can
optionally specify either the controlplane or cluster egress
selector by setting the issuer.egressSelectorType field. When
unset, the prior behavior of using no egress selector is retained.
Egress selection is valuable when the persona configuring the JWT
authenticator and the persona managing the control plane are
different individuals. This change allows the latter to protect
control plane network services from unexpected connections.
