The cpu_id is allocated contiguously by the kernel, start at 0.
However, today's cache information extractors parse them as hexadecimal number,
more than 10 will result in incomplete cache information.
The issue now is fixed, so update the board xml.

Virtio gpu device UI will be implemented after 3.0.

Unlike other CPU IDs, the cpu_id field under //processors//thread in the
board XML is in decimal as it is assigned by the kernel continuously,
starting from 0. However, the cache info extractor today parses them as
hexadecimal numbers, leading to incomplete cache info when more than 10
processors are present on the board. This patch fixes this issue.

Today ACRN works only on platforms with a single PCI domain (which is true
for most client and IoT platforms). This limitation is also used to
simplify the implementation of the board inspector. As a result, on
platforms with multiple PCI domains, the board inspector may crash when
parsing information about PCI devices.
This patch adds a check on the number of PCI domains before the board
inspector attempts to extract any information, and terminates the tool
early if multiple PCI domains are detected.

The lookup extractor of the board inspector filters out non-PCI or
non-present devices by checking the presence of vendor ID and class code.
The same logic applies to PCI buses as well, but is neglected today.

According to DX recommendations, this patch adds a Boolean item to each
vCPU which allows users to specify the vCPUs intended for
real-time-critical tasks. This information will be used to organize other
widgets (CAT-related ones for now) in the configurator to tell apart
real-time ones from the others for better clarity.
All vCPUs are by default not real-time-critical, except those in the RT VMs
which are.

Different from other nodes which have static default values, the virtual
BDF nodes of virtual UART endpoints or IVSHMEM interfaces have a set of
default values and should be used with uniqueness guaranteed. The existing
default value mechanism in XSD does not include support for this.
This patch adds two more ACRN-specific annotations, namely `acrn:defaults`
and `acrn:unique-among`, that have the following semantics.
- `acrn:defaults` is a Python expression that evaluates to an iterable.
- `acrn:unique-among` is an xpath that specifies the nodes. Each node
within the select ones shall have a value unique among them. The xpath
is evaluated with the variable `parent` defined as the parent node
under which the vBDF node is to be appended.

The GPA SSRAM area size in pre-launched VMs was hard-coded to 8MB.
Since this area is mapped from host SSRAM area, it will cause compile
problem when host's SSRAM area is larger than 8MB.
To solve this issue, we have to calculate SSRAM area's size in
gpa.py, and generate a macro PRE_RTVM_SW_SRAM_MAX_SIZE for HV
to use.
PRE_RTVM_SW_SRAM_START_GPA/END_GPA can be calculated by end/size
in HV, so they are removed.
When SSRAM is not configured in the system, PRE_RTVM_SW_SRAM_MAX_SIZE
is set to 0.
Crl_bin is not needed in guest. So it's size is removed in bin_gen.py.

This patch adds logic to the extractors to fetch the following information.
1. All the details of an SR-IOV capability, which are reported in the
SR-IOV extended capability structure.
2. Correctly report the vendor ID, device ID and BAR addresses of VFs.
3. Refer each VF back to the corresponding PF. Use XPATH to search for
all the VFs enabled by a PF.

The device-model land ivshmem regions are not properly generated into the launch
scripts today because:
1. Those regions are provided by "Device Model", not "Device model".
2. VM names are not properly encoded in the XPATH that search for the
ivshmem regions accessible to a VM.

The next-generation ACRN configurator will embed a Python interpreter built
in WebAssembly (WASM) for executing Python scripts for manipulating
scenario schemas and validating user data. It is quite tedious to
separately import multiple modules there due to the restriction of that
Python environment. The recommended approach is to package those
modules (e.g. as a *.wic file) so that all modules can be imported in one
shot.
This patch adds the files needed to package the scripts. The package is
solely used for the configurator to import and not intended to be used by
end users for any purpose.

The Service VM needs a 'serial.conf' file to recognize and use
non-standard vUART with the 'setserial' package.
The logic of create serial.conf should update after we move vUART
connection to global and use endpoint to replace the target VM id.
This patch select the new vUART connection and check whether one of the
endpoint is Service VM, if yes, then check the io_port and record it
when the vUART is non-standard.
All these non-standard vUART will be written to the serial.conf.

the validation rules (using xs:assert constructs). This provide integrators
with a mechanism to confirm the well-formedness of those rules, especially
the customized annotations for advanced error reporting.

In order for more effective and specific error reporting, this patch
enhanced the XML assertion validation mechanism by:
- Enhancing the elementpath library at runtime to capture of quantified
variables that causes an assertion to fail, which can be used as a
counter example of the rule.
- Allowing error messages (as xs:documentation in the XML schema)
embedding XPath (up to 2.0) which will be evaluated against the counter
example to provide more specific information about the error.
- Adding to assertions a mandatory attribute which specifies the context
node(s) of an error using XPath. These nodes can be further used in the
configurator to attach the errors to the widgets where users can fix
them.

Now we have transitioned to use XML schema to record all data validation
rules against board and scenario XMLs. While most checks originally in the
Python scripts are about the syntax of the XML files and thus naturally
covered by the XML schemas, there are still a few that conduct cross-check
on data consistency.
This patch migrates those checks into XML schema as assertions.

The "MMIO resources" section of a VM definition may contain different nodes
depending on the VM load order, but the schema slicer cannot convert the
complex type specifying this section because the schema requires those
nodes to be a strictly-ordered sequence (by xs:sequence), not a set (by
xs:all).
As there is no requirement on this strict ordering, this patch converts
that complex type to be an unordered set instead.

Splitting the definitions of a post-launched VM into two files, namely the
scenario XML and launch XML, introduces duplicated field in both files and
leads to a high probability of having inconsistencies between them (see
issue #7156 as an example). Further more, this split has also adds much
complexity to the configurator which has to either hide some of the items
from user interfaces or synchronize different fields upon changes.
The advantage of the split, however, is not widely adopted. Having a
separate XML capturing the VM definition tweakable in the service VM at
runtime seems to give users more flexibility to redefine a VM without
recompiling the hypervisor. But that is not a common practice in the
industry segment; instead it is preferred to have a static scenario
definition to make sure that all resources are allocated carefully in a
fixed manner in order for better determinism.
As a result, this patch merges the fields in launch XMLs into the schema of
scenario XMLs. Some fields are post-launched VM specific and thus added,
while the others have similar items in scenario XMLs today.
The launch script generator is also updated accordingly to generate launch
scripts from the new scenario XMLs (which now contain the same amount of
information as previous launch XMLs).

This patch adds the following annotations to the config items defined in
the schema of scenario XMLs:
- acrn:title, which defines the human-readable label of the corresponding
widgets in the configurator.
- acrn:views, which controls in which view(s) this item shows in the
configurator.
- acrn:applicable-vms, which specifies the kinds of VMs (pre-launched,
post-launched and/or service VM) this item applies to. An item not
applicable to a certain type of VM will not be shown in the
configurator, and will trigger validation error if that item exists for
a VM of that specific type.

* Preserve the CPU affinity settings for service VMs. This will be needed
later when we want to restrict the available CPUs the service VM can use at
runtime (but not at initialization time).

A shared memory region can be provided either by the hypervisor or by the
device model. Before recent schema changes this is telled by the "hv:/" or
"dm:/" prefix.
This patch adds another node under an IVSHMEM region to represent the
provider, following the practice that information in the old-school
encodings is split and put as separate XML nodes.

As is recommended by UX/DX reviews, the per-VM console virtual UART is now
limited to the following choices:
- Disabled
- a COM port from COM1 to COM4
- PCI based
This patch converts the schema of scenario XMLs to integrate this
recommendation and add logic in the scenario upgrader to migrate data from
old scenario XMLs.

Instead of using a Boolean variable indicating whether a build is for debug
or release, it is more intuitive to specify the build types as "debug" or
"release".
This patch converts the config item RELEASE to BUILD_TYPE which takes
"debug" or "release" as of now.
The generated header and makefile still uses RELEASE, and the command line
option RELEASE=<y or n> is also preserved.

With a bunch of dramatic improvement to the schema of scenario XML
recently, it is now non-trivial for users of previous releases to migrate
their scenario definitions to the next-gen schema, which will be a
major obstacle when upgrading to the next ACRN release.
In order to ease the upgrade of scenario XML, this patch introduces a
script that takes a scenario XML of previous releases and generates a new
one which satisfies the latest schema. The major data that can be migrated
include:
- Virtual UART and shared memory configurations
- VM types, load_order and guest flags
Other data are preserved as long as they are still needed according to the
schema. The script to print a list that summarizes the data that are
unintendedly discarded during the upgrade, so that users can double check
the results and edit the generated scenario using the configurator.
The upgrader share the same command-line interface of the default value
populator and scenario validator.
More upgrading logic will be added at the same time the schema is changed.

* The upgrader now pretty-prints the upgraded XML.
* Apply the upgrader to the current scenario XMLs in the repo. The
ordering of nodes are adjusted to align with the schema, but no

We plan to add the following attributes to element definitions in the XML
schema:
- acrn:applicable-vms, which specify if an element applies to a
pre-launched VM, the service VM or a post-launched VM
- acrn:views, which specify if an element shall appear in the basic or
advanced tab in the configurator.
In order to reduce the attributes above to existing XML technologies, we
need to create new complex types that lists all config items that applies
to a pre-launched VM, the service VM or a post-launched VM, or that should
be shown in the basic or advanced view. Such types can then be used to
replace the original, all-in-one type during validation or configurator
rendering.
When unspecified, an element always applies under all possible
circumstances.
To realize this slicing mechanism, this patch adds a generic class
implementing the common part of slicing XML schema types and two
specific-purpose slicers according to the applicable VMs or views
attributes.

Today the scripts that populate default values and validate scenarios have
different command-line interfaces: the former requires an XML schema as
input (which is cumbersome in most cases), while the latter always infer
where the XML schema is (which is inflexible).
This patch unifies the command line options of those scripts as follows:
- The scenario XML is always a required positional argument.
- The output file path (if any) is an optional positional argument.
- The schema XML file is an optional long option. When not specified, the
scripts will always use the one under the misc/config_tools/schema
directory.
Also, this patch makes the validator.py executable, as is done to other
executable scripts in the repo.

schemas and/or data in different ways for different purpose. Today we
already have:
- Validate XML data, which takes XML schemas and data (board and
scenario) as inputs.
- Fill in missing nodes in XML data with default values, which takes XML
schema and data (scenario only) as inputs.
In the near future we'll extend the operations around XMLs by introducing
XML schema preprocessing and XML data upgrading, adding more possibilities
to construct a larger operation by composing smaller ones.
In order for minimized code repetition and easier composition, this patch
introduces an infrasturcture that abstracts each operation as a pipeline
stage. Each stage defines its own inputs and outputs and can be composed
sequentially as a larger, single operation.
The existing operations listed above, along with XML file loaders, are then
refactored to provide pipeline stages. The main methods are also refined to
complete their tasks by constructing and invoking pipelines.

Today the default value populator will always create a node if it is
required by the schema but not provided in the given XML file. This could
hide issues in a given scenario XML if a node does not have default
values (i.e. require user's inputs) but accepts empty text.
This patch avoids the creation of nodes without a default value so that, at
validation stage, missing of essential data is always reported.

The "xs:alternative" nodes in XML schema enables specifying different types
for the same node according to the contents of that node. A typical usage
of this construct in the schema of scenario XMLs is to specify different
types for a `vm` node depending on whether it is a pre-launched,
post-launched or service VMs, so that each VM contains only configurations
supported in that kind of VM.
This patch adds support of xs:alternative nodes to the schema transformer
so that default values can be populated appropriately after we add
xs:alternative nodes to the schema.

Today the script default_populator.py fills in default values by visiting
an XML schema and an XML tree simultaneously and add a node to the latter
whenever one satisfying the schema does not exist. This visiting logic is
not only useful for filling in default values, but also for upgrading
XMLs to new schemas.
This patch abstracts the flow of the visiting above as a separate class,
just like tree visitors or transformers. The current default value
populator is then refactored to extend that class by inheritance.

Assertions in XML schema are placed under schema/checks as the central
place, in order to make it easier to enhance the error reporting
specifically on assertion failures in the near future.
This patch moves the RDT related assertions in the schema to a dedicate
file uner schema/checks.

Add user VM reboot command and related command handler in
lifecycle manager to support user VM reboot.
Libvirt will send user VM reboot command to lifecycle manager
of service VM through socket, this command is forwarded to the
specified user VM, user VM will execute reboot command to start
reboot itself.

The launch script generator today (and the scripts that it generates) is
fundamentally built on the concept of PCI device classes, with the
restriction that at most one PCI function per class can be passed through
to a post-launched VM. This has put inproper constraint on the scenarios
users can set up, especially on server platforms or those with SR-IOV
capable devices.
As it is too tedious to change such deep-rooted concept, this patch
rewrites the launch script generator and refines the structure of the
generated scripts so that PCI functions are identified only by their
BDF.
This change serves as a mandatory step to align the way how passthrough
devices are configured for pre-launched and post-launched VMs, which
eventually allows us to present a unified view in the configurator for
assigning passthrough device.

1) If the board inspector show CRITICAL error messages, it means that the
board inspector tool exit instantly and generate no file.
2) If the board inspector show ERROR messages, it means that the board
inspector will generate the board XML file successfully, but several conditions
may result in ACRN build or boot failure cannot continue execution due to the error.
3) If the board inspector show WARNING messages, this means that the board inspector
generate the board XML file successfully, but this board XML file is lack of
some feature which could still boot ACRN but loss some features.
4) If the board inspector show INFO messages, this means that board inspector
printed out some normal information.
5) If the board inspector show DEBUG messages, this means that it is used to
debug board inspector workflow.

Bring all the cores up in the beginning of the board_inspector.py
It is expected to run board_inspector in clean and native environment.
To resolve the issue that user may run other jobs which puts cores
offline, bringing up all cores online so tool can run cpuid to extract
all available cores information.

In 10-processors.py, level_types is an unordered dictionary from level type
encodings to human-readable terms, not a list. It is thus illegal to access the
highest level using the `[-1]` notation.
This patch fixes this by calculating the highest level in level_types and use
that level as the index instead.

Manually specifying MAX_IOAPIC_NUM and MAX_IOAPIC_LINES in a scenario XML
is still usable as a workaround on boards without IOAPIC (e.g. emulated
ones) or when the board inspector does not collect IOAPIC information
correctly.
This patch takes user-specified values of those items if
provided. Otherwise the automatically calculated values will be used
instead, as is done today.

without a value, which causes the generated files ill-formed.

In XSL a string variable can be nul, the empty string or a non-empty
string. While `$var != ''` ensures that `var` is a non-empty string,
`$var = ''` is true only when `var` holds the empty string. In other words,
`$var = ''` and `$var != ''` can be both false if `var` evaluates to nul.
As a result, the config.h/config.mk generating scripts does not use the
given default value if the explicit value is nul.
This patch fixes the incorrect comparison in the XSL scripts that handles
default values, so that the default value behaves as expected.

The board configuration generator assumes all PCI BARs are programmed when
the board inspector runs, which is sometimes not the case. Unprogrammed
BARs will be reported using plain texts wrapped by angle brackets in the
output of `lspci`.
This patch gracefully skips the unprogrammed BARs and continues when
parsing the output of `lspci`, in order to avoid build-time failures due to
unprogrammed BARs.

While the terms to refer to CPU topology levels are originally borrowed
from MSR listings in SDMs (i.e. thread, core, die and package), we now
align the topology information with the CPUID topology enumeration
leaf (which does not have a "package" level) in the
implementation. However, some hard-coded level types are not updated
accordingly, leading to strangely organized nodes in the generated board
XML.
This patch refines the CPU extractor of the board inspector by removing
such hard code. Also the XPATH counting the total number of threads is
refined to tolerate the variance of reported intermediate levels.

The interrupt pin descriptors in board XML follows the same notation as in
ACPI PRT (PCI Routing Table), i.e. either an integer or a pair of a device
object and an index.
However, the current static INTx allocator recognizes
integer-as-interrupt-line only, which will cause build-time failure if
the "device object + index" notation is used in physical DSDT to describe
PCI interrupt pin routing.
This patch refines the static allocator so that both notations can be
parsed properly. In case an interrupt line descriptor in the board XML
refers to an device object without an index, it is interpreted as the first
of the ACPI device object if it is an interrupt resource.

INTx routing can be specified in ACPI PRT (PCI Routing Table) in two ways:
1. By an absolute interrupt line from the global interrupt pool.
2. By a device object and an index to its interrupt resource.
The board inspector today only encodes the source object of an interrupt
pin routing in XML device resource descriptors, which is incomplete if the
source is a device object (i.e. case 2 above).
This patch adds the index from PRT to device resource nodes as well.

Today the XML validation logic is embedded in scenario_cfg_gen.py which is
highly entangled with the Python-internal representation of
configurations. Such representation is used by the current configurator,
but will soon be obsolete when the new configurator is introduced.
In order to avoid unnecessary work on this internal representation when we
refine the schema of scenario XML files, this patch separates the
validation logic into a new script which can either be used from the
command line or imported in other Python-based applications. At build time
this script will be used instead to validate the XML files given by users.
This change makes it easier to refine the current configuration items for
better developer experience.
Migration of existing checks in scenario_cfg_gen.py to XML schema will be
done by a following series.

When cloning the ACRN source code to a folder, which is not named "acrn-hypervisor",
the debian package created by the "make" call does not contain all needed files.

Today we assume a device node under /sys/devices/pciXXXX:XX/ always contain
a `config` file which shows the configuration space of the PCI
functions. This seems not the case for, at least, Non-Transparent
Bridge (or NTB).
This patch checks the existence of the `config` file and skips PCI
functions which do not contain one.

The stream tracks the AML binary to be parsed as a list of bytes, not
characters. It makes no sense to call `ord` with a byte as the input
parameter.

If the user installed the lib python package in the host machine,
it will fail to build acrn hypervisor since the same package named lib is
also used in acrn config tool(static_allocators/lib).
So we add the __init__.py file under the static_allocators/lib directory
to fix the error.

According to PCIe specification (since 2.0), absence of any extended
capabilities is required to be indicated by an extended capability header
with a capability ID of FFFFh and a next capability offset of 000h. Thus,
the board inspector today accesses the first extended capability header at
100h in the configuration space of a PCIe function unconditionally.
However, in practice we have seen real PCI functions which has a PCIe
capability but no extended capability header. This will cause the board
inspector to crash due to invalid configuration space accesses.
To fix that, this patch adds a check to the size of the configuration space
before walking the extended capabilities of a PCIe function.

Currently, if user starts acrnd service, acrnd service will fail to
find the folder "/sys/kernel/gvt" in Service VM, fail to start.
Root cause is GVT-g is not supported in current ACRN, the folder
"/sys/kernel/gvt" will not be created in Service VM.
This patch updates acrnd service to remove this condition check.

Currently, while there is no running post-launched User VM and
user executes acrnctl command, he or she will get failure and
error message is "/run/acrn/mngr doesn't exist".
Root cause of this failure is acrnctl only check whether the folder
"/run/acrn/mngr" exist or not, if this folder doesn't exist, will
report failure.
acrnd service will create the folder "/run/acrn/mngr", user should
make sure acrnd service is started before using acrnctl

Currently in sanitize_vm_config, all LAPIC-PT VM are treated as RTVM,
which can be relaxed: LAPIC PT VM does not have to be RTVM.
Change the logic in sanitize_vm_config to support this relaxation.

This patch adds an option CONFIG_KEEP_IRQ_DISABLED to hv (default n) and
config-tool so that when this option is 'y', all interrupts in hv root
mode will be permanently disabled.
With this option to be 'y', all interrupts received in root mode will be
handled in external interrupt vmexit after next VM entry. The postpone
latency is negligible. This new configuration is a requirement from x86
TEE's secure/non-secure interrupt flow support. Many race conditions can be
avoided when keeping IRQ off.

The lifecycle manager in Service VM checks sync message every
5 seconds, so need add 5 seconds to sync delay for WaaG
lifecycle manager to avoid unnecessary sync resending.

Currently, the lifecycle manager in Service VM will issue poweroff
command to shutdown service VM when User VM fails to shutdown. The
post-launched RTVM with virtio device may hang after Service VM
shutdown.
In this patch, the lifecycle manager in Service VM will stop to
shut down service VM when User VM fails to shutdown. Users have
chance to fix User VM shutdown failure (such as forcelly shutdown
User VM or execute poweroff command in User VM), after the failure
is fixed, user can trigger S5 in service VM to shutdown platform
gracefully.

when we add two or more virtio block devices and rename them for a VM
in launch xml files, then generate launch scripts through the UI.
After ensuring the devices names are different, we repeat these operations
continuously. Finally we will get the duplicate PT_SLOT value for
different virtio block devices in a launch script. This is wrong.
After user click the "Generate Launch Script" button to generate the
launch scripts every time, we will reset PT_SLOT variate to fix the issue.

The CONFIG_MAX_IR_ENTRIES and CONFIG_MAX_PT_IRQ_ENTRIES are separate
configuration items, and they can be configured through configuration tool
When the number of PT irq entries are more than IR entries, then some
passthrough devices' irqs may failed to be protected by interrupt
remapping or automatically injected by post-interrupt mechanism.
And it waste memory if the CONFIG_MAX_IR_ENTRIES is larger.
This patch replace the CONFIG_MAX_IR_ENTRIES to MAX_IR_ENTRIES and
enforce it align to CONFIG_PT_IRQ_ENTRIES and round up to > 2^n as the
IRTA_REG spec.This way can enforce all PT irqs works with IR or PI
mechanism.

COM2 in user VM is used by acrnctl to do user VM
shutdown.
In this patch series, COM2 in user VM is used as uart
channel device for new lifecycle manager. So acrnctl
can't be used to do user VM shutdown.
This patch provides a script to user to do guest
shutdown in service VM. Lifecycle manager in service
VM will send user VM shutdown command to user VM directly.
TODO: When user VM shutdown is supported in libvirt, this
script will be removed.

Generate serial configuration file for service VM according
to scenario file and vUART ports base address allocated by
config tool.
Currently, some non-standard serial ports are emulated in
hypervisor and will be used to do communication between service
VM and user VM, so need to generate serial configuration file
to configure these serial ports for service VM.

The pre-rtvm uses the RTCT tab to determine it's SSRAM address.
It was origionally duplicated from the host, and keeped its address
and layout.
To move the SSRAM area in ve820, we have to modify the guest's RTCT
tab first.
This patch uses the board_inspector's RTCT module to parse the host's
RTCT tab, and calculate the offset, then modifies the SSRAM/bin enties,
and saves it to the new RTCT bin file.

when we click the "Import XML" button to import the scenario xml file, then
click the "Export XML" to export the xml files, we will find some errors because
UI don't show the default value set in schema.
As a workaround, we call default_populator.py in UI to expand the default value
in the scenario XML file to fix the issue.

a space after "Error:" and "Warning:" instead of have the text directly
attached to it.

Commit 4a04fcc ("config_tools: skip remapping HW units with no devices under
scope") skips hardware remapping units without any device under its scope in the
config tools, which turns out to only work if the HV is not parsing the DMAR at
runtime.
This patch reverts the previous workaround and fixes the previous issue by
always initializing `dmar_hw_list.hw_ignore` when parsing DMAR. This ensures
that the DRHDx_IGNORE macro will always be emitted while DRHD_COUNT is not
impacted.

Fix a crash in the 'board_inspector.py' tool in case 'cpuid' is not
installed on the system.
The tools crashes because 'cpuid' is used before the check for
dependencies is done in the code. That check for dependencies is
done in the 'legacy/board_parser.py' file. But the native_check()
function that is called before it also expects the cpuid tool to
be installed.
The fix is to move the check for dependencies in the main
'board_inspector.py' file, before any other operation is done.

For vCAT, it may need to store more than MAX_VCPUS_PER_VM of closids,
change clos in vm_config.h to a pointer to accommodate this situation
Rename clos to pclosids
pclosids now is a pointer to an array of physical CLOSIDs that is defined
in vm_configurations.c by vmconfig. The number of elements in the array
must be equal to the value given by num_pclosids
Add max_type_pcbm (type: l2 or l3) to struct acrn_vm_config, which stores a bitmask
that selects/covers all the physical cache ways assigned to the VM
Change vmsr.c to accommodate this amended data structure
Change the config-tools to generate vm_configurations.c, and fill in the num_closids
and clos pointers based on the information from the scenario file.
Now vm_configurations.c.xsl generates all the clos related code so remove the same
code from misc_cfg.h.xsl.

Add the VCAT_ENABLED element to RDTType so that user can enable/disable vCAT globally
Add the GUEST_FLAG_VCAT_ENABLED guest flag to enable/disable vCAT per-VM.
Currently we have the following per-VM clos element in scenario file for RDT use:

When the GUEST_FLAG_VCAT_ENABLED guest flag is not specified, clos is for RDT use,
vcpu_clos is per-CPU and it configures each CPU in VMs to a desired CLOS ID.
When the GUEST_FLAG_VCAT_ENABLED guest flag is specified, vCAT is enabled for this VM,
clos is for vCAT use, vcpu_clos is not per-CPU anymore in this case, just a list of
physical CLOSIDs (minimum 2) that are assigned to VMs for vCAT use. Each vcpu_clos
will be mapped to a virtual CLOSID, the first vcpu_clos is mapped to virtual CLOSID
0 and the second is mapped to virtual CLOSID 1, etc
Add xs:assert to prevent any problems with invalid configuration data for vCAT:
If any GUEST_FLAG_VCAT_ENABLED guest flag is specified, both RDT_ENABLED and VCAT_ENABLED
must be 'y'
If VCAT_ENABLED is 'y', RDT_ENABLED must be 'y' and CDP_ENABLED must be 'n'
For a vCAT VM, vcpu_clos cannot be set to CLOSID 0, CLOSID 0 is reserved to be used by hypervisor
For a vCAT VM, number of clos/vcpu_clos elements must be greater than 1
For a vCAT VM, each clos/vcpu_clos must be less than L2/L3 COS_MAX
For a vCAT VM, its clos/vcpu_clos elements cannot contain duplicate values
There should not be any CLOS IDs overlap between a vCAT VM and any other VMs
